Bill Fink, Lee Foster & Fred Gebhart Win in Lowell Thomas Travel Journalism Competition

In the prestigious Lowell Thomas Travel Journalism Competition for 2009, Bill Fink won a Gold award in the Newspaper Article on Foreign Travel category for his article “Magic Realism, Realized” in the San Francisco Chronicle. Fred Gebhart won a Gold award in the Environmental Tourism Article category for his article “The Industry Takes Action” in Travel Professional magazine.  Under the category of photography of people, Lee Foster won an Honorable Mention for a photo in his new book The Photographer’s Guide to San Francisco, which shows delighted recently-married couples in the annual Gay Freedom parade during the brief period when same-sex marriages were legal in California.  Congratulations, Bill, Fred and Lee.
