David Page's story about the "most traveled man" in Men's Journal

David Page has an article about Bay Area resident Charles Veley and the battle to be the “World’s Most Traveled Man” in the September, 2009, “Style & Design” issue of Men’s Journal (to be reprinted online soon).

David has also recently signed on as a Contributing Editor to MatadorNetwork.com, which he says is “the most-read independent travel publication on the web.”

[Editor's note: While I haven't had a chance to read David's article yet, I have read about Veley before, and I have to wonder about people who are just adding pages to their passports.  What do they really see, hear, taste, smell or experience when they "travel"?  Should Veley instead be the "World's Most Touristed Man"?  Comments are welcome below.]

Loved your article about weaning on the desert! I’ve never quite read anything like it.
Terrific humor with information as well as lovely photos.
