Accessing Member Directory (Members Only)

BATW Members – Here’s how to access the Member Directory:

1.  Click on “Member Log-in” on the BATW Website (www.batw.org).

2.  You will be taken to a new window and the login page for the “Members Only Area” of the BATW website.

3.  Type in your username and password, and click on “Login”.

4.  Click on “Member Directory” near the top of the page in the center.

5.  You can browse through the Directory, page by page.

6. The Search box above the first member shown in the Directory can be used for searching by “keyword“.  For example, if you type in “photographer” you will get a list of members who have that word somewhere in their Profile.  Clicking on the word “Search” (next to “Show all connections”) works the same way.

7.   The best way to find a specific member is to click on “Advanced Search” and select “Last Name” as the first “Criteria”, then “Equal” in the next box, and type the person’s last name in the third box.  (If the person has a common last name, you can click “Add Criteria” and select “First Name” and “Equal” to narrow the search.  But if the person is sometimes called by a nickname and you do not know which that person used as a “First Name” in the Profile — “Dick” versus “Richard” in the case of the BATW Webmaster” — you may get a “no users found” search result).

8.  You can use “Advanced Search” to produce a list of members meeting multiple criteria and need not include first or last names.

9.  The “Search all connections” function has not as yet been implemented.

10.  To view and edit your own Profile, follow these instructions.

11.    When you’re finished in the Members Directory you can either remain in the “Members Only Area” of the Website and review information in the Event List or Services sections, or click on “Logout” to exit the “Members Only Area” .
