See Golden Gate Bridge diversion info from Dick Jordan below:
BATW members who live in the North Bay and plan on attending the January 10th meeting at SFO won’t be able to reach the airport via the Golden Gate Bridge, which will be closed from 12:01 a.m. on Saturday, January 10th, until 4:00 a.m. on Monday, January 12th, during the installation of a movable median barrier on the bridge.
Marin Airporter will be providing bus service to SFO via the East Bay from its Larkspur location, but not from pick-up points south of there. Call 415-461-4222 to find out if there will be Marin Airporter service from north of Larkspur either directly to SFO or to Larkspur where you can hop a bus to that airport.
Call 707-837-8700 regarding Sonoma County Airport Express or Napa Airporter at 707-252-1900 to check on service to SFO on January 10th.
There will be extended ferry service from Larkspur to San Francisco (http://goldengate.org/news/bridge/mmb_closure_ferry.php) where you can take BART to SFO. For example, the 8:20 a.m. Larkspur ferry arrives at the Ferry Building in San Francisco at 8:50 a.m., and the 9:12 a.m. train from BART Embarcadero Station arrives at SFO at 9:45 a.m., and the next train would get you there by 10:05 a.m.
Parking could be limited at the Larkspur ferry terminal or Marin Airporter lots, and long-term parking is not available at the Marin County Mart directly across from the ferry terminal.
Unfortunately, no ferry leaves Sausalito early enough to get you to SFO for the BATW meeting.
Golden Gate Transit buses can also take you into San Francisco where you can catch a BART train to SFO.
The 511.org Transit Trip Planner can help you figure out how to get from home to and from SFO using public transportation.
And a tip from Suzie Rodriguez:
Another alternative for North Bay members: Park your car for free at the Richmond (or any East Bay) BART station, and get to the airport thataway.
