BATW associate member Catherine Boire passes along two Open House invitations celebrating Cuvaison Wine Estates‘ grand unveiling of their two newly re-designed visitor centers. Cuvaison holds the enviable distinction as the only Napa Valley winery featuring two tasting rooms, each distinctly different in style, décor, location and setting.
The historic Calistoga site, located on the Silverado Trail at the northern end of Napa Valley, has a more classic yet contemporary atmosphere, with an inviting tasting bar and tree-shaded picnic grounds.
The Carneros site, in Napa Valley’s southern-most region, graces the center of the winery’s 400-acre estate vineyards for what is arguably one of the best tasting room views in the region. Panoramic views of organic and sustainably farmed vineyards, ultra-modern décor, eco-sustainable materials and construction all highlight the striking indoor and outdoor terrace space.
The winery will host two public Open House events in mid-July that BATW members are welcomed to attend. Each event will feature facility tours, estate wine tastings, appetizers, wine games and the opportunity to mix with the winery president and winemaker.
